In the first video, students from Music 231: Laptop Ensemble prepare for a performance using sample-based digitial instruments. As part of an assignment, each student created thier own individual instrument using sounds they had recorded, and then worked collaboratively to make a short composition and accompanying score.
The following are two videos from the full ensemble reshearsals. The first is Gunnlauger Bjornsson’s piece, Greatest Hits for 24 laptops, and the second is a workshop of my piece, alskdjalskdjalskdj.
