Access and Location

The YalMusT Labs are located on the fourth floor of the Department of Music, which is in Stoeckel Hall at 469 College Street. The facilities are open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. There are three labs and a digital technology classroom.  The YalMusT Notation Lab is in RM 405, the YalMusT Advanced Lab in RMs 401/402, the YalMusT Advanced Studio is in RM 403, and the YalMusT Digital Technology Classroom is in RM 407.

RM 405, the YalMusT Notation Lab, is a general-use studio accessible to Department of Music faculty, graduate music students, undergraduate music majors and other students enrolled in music courses.  Email kristine.kinsella@yale.edu to request access.

RMs 401/402, the YalMusT Advanced Lab, is an advanced music and multimedia lab environment accessible to Department of Music faculty, graduate music students, undergraduate music majors and other students enrolled in Music 230, 231, 320, 321b, 315, 330, 371, 395, 414, 420, 450, and 481.  Email kristine.kinsella@yale.edu to request access.

RM 403, the YalMusT Advanced Studio is an advanced music and multimedia studio accessible to students enrolled in Music 320, 321, 395, 414, 420, 421, 450 and 481.  Email kristine.kinsella@yale.edu to request access.

RM 407, the YalMusT Digital Technology Classroom is an advanced digital technology classroom for faculty and teaching assistants for use in technology-based instruction.
